Time Takes Time is the tenth studio solo album by Ringo Starr, originally released in 1992. It marked a major critical and musical comeback for the former Beatle, serving as his first studio album in nine years following a period of sobriety and his highly successful debut tours with the All-Starr Band.
This album is widely regarded by critics as Ringo’s best and most consistent solo work since his definitive 1973 album, Ringo. Rolling Stone praised it as a “charming, unpretentious pop album”.
To capture a high-quality sound, the project utilized four top-tier music producers: Don Was, Jeff Lynne, Peter Asher, and Phil Ramone. It features an impressive lineup of guest backing vocalists and celebrity musicians, including Brian Wilson, Harry Nilsson, and Andrew Gold, alongside Andy Sturmer and Roger Manning of the power-pop band Jellyfish.
