The Good Riddance Acoustic Shows (Live) is a
limited-edition live collaboration album officially credited to both singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams and producer/musician Aaron Dessner. Released through
Interscope Records on February 23, 2024, the album marks the first anniversary of Abrams’ debut studio record.
Vinyl Description
The album documents a highly exclusive, three-city promotional acoustic run from September 2023. The tracks were captured live at intimate, atmospheric venues across the United States: The McKittrick Hotel (New York), Riverside Revival (Nashville), and The Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever (Los Angeles).
The physical pressing strips away the studio tracking to focus purely on the raw intimacy of the performance, highlighting Dessner’s intricate acoustic guitar arrangements paired with Abrams’ diary-like vocal delivery. The live record is also known for capturing the distinct, venue-like atmosphere and passionate crowd sing-alongs.
